Did you See the Star of Bethlehem Last Night?!

Watch on You Tube if you can’t see this video here. People Get Ready, Jesus is Coming by Avalon

____________________________________________

Wow I haven’t done any Faith post in quite awhile, I was thinking about that late last night! So, I thought now is the perfect time to do one! Last night I don’t know if you all knew but the last night in the west, northwest part of the sky you could see the Star of Bethlehem! Jupiter and Venus get very near to being in alignment, this has not happened in 2,000 years. Some believe that this conjunction of stars is the Bethlehem Star, that was seen after the birth of Jesus! The seeing of it last night is a sign that Jesus is Coming back soon, to some people. Other people see it as two planets aligning, and that is it. It just depends on your walk with God and the way you view things.

It was very bright, and such a neat thing to see! My mother-in-law actually texted us earlier in the day and told us about it. I had no idea it was happening, so it was nice to hear about it and get to see it!

I know people have been saying for years Jesus is coming soon, get ready and such. It has made people not believe the time is near, but I truly do feel the time is coming and we do need to get our hearts right with the Lord and be ready. If we are here during Tribulation time, that will be so hard, harder than I think most of us can imagine, and if we are not strong in our faith it will be even harder! I have just been feeling in my heart to get my heart right with God, and work on growing my faith closer to him. Breaking down the walls I have, healing the wounds, and become strong. So if I am faced with a trial, I turn to him and know that no matter what I will be okay, because he is with me and in the end I always win.

I have always had pretty good faith, but I just want to grow deeper. I feel that tugging at my spirit to go deeper in my walk with God. If the rapture doesn’t happen in my lifetime, what did I do that was wrong, absolutely nothing! I prepared my heart for the day to be with Jesus and my family, all that did was better myself. It made life more enjoyable and peaceful while I was here on earth! So whether you think it is End Times or not, I still think we all should try and grow closer to God, and build a stronger relationship with him! Maybe you already are very strong in your faith, hats off to you!!! I feel I am not done growing, and that is why I decided to write this post! Maybe there are a few of you out there that feel the same way as me!

3 Places I Want to Visit One Day

LandscapeI am not a person who wants to travel the whole world! I like to be at home and I am content with that. But, there are a few places I would like to go visit in my lifetime! I thought I would share the 3 places I want to visit one day!  Maybe in a few years once the baby gets older, we can take a nice little road trip!

Alaska: I have always wanted to go to Alaska! It looks like such a beautiful place. We watch a lot of shows that are in Alaska and it makes me want to go that much more. I thought at one time it would be fun to live there but I am not big on cold, and I would be scared of bears and such living in the back yard. Plus some places don’t have running water and such, and that is a must for me! So I decided it would be fun to visit one day.

Colorado: It is crazy, we don’t live that far from Colorado, and yet I have never been. I think it looks like such a beautiful state, and lots of great things to go and do. My husband went to college in Colorado and always talks so good about the state, and it makes me really want to go visit! I love the mountains, they look stunning in pictures! We live in Kansas, so things are very flat here!

Oregon: I am not sure why I want to visit Oregon, but ever since I was a teenager I thought it would be a neat place to visit! It sounds like a really neat place, and from pictures it is yet another stunning place. I have a friend who lived there and always says how it is a place to visit for sure, if you love outdoors!

Plus before you go travel the globe, check out these weird traffic laws! I had no idea some of these existed, lots of crazy ones!

Adam Will Be Competing In Mud Runs Again This Year!

Mud Runs

It is that time of the year, Adam will start competing in mud runs this Saturday! It is the first one of the season for him, he does a really wonderful job at competing! He won a lot last year, and I have high hopes for this year.

Mud runs is not where they run through the mud obstacles. This is where you have a vehicle that has to meet so many requirements for a class you compete in. Then you drive through the mud pit like pictured above as fast as you can, or as far as you can and the furthest vehicle or fastest time wins. They have a good amount of money that you can win.

Mud RunsSome classes run with really really fast, they have pretty souped up motors. The one Adam runs in is pretty quick as well. He just rebuilt the motor in his vehicle last year and then did some tweaks so it runs a bit faster, or so it seems to me! He works super hard on his motor and competing so I will have to let you know how this weekend goes and if he places!

Adams Winnings I know his vehicle may not be the prettiest, but don’t let that fool you! You don’t want a vehicle that is super nice on the outside as it will get scratched up and such from the mud and rocks in the pit!  That is a picture from last year from his day of competing! Got two trophies and a good amount of cash!

That is how we will spend our summer, him competing in mud runs! He travels all over the state to compete. I know some of you may be planning a vacation or two! Here is a post on things to prep for when going on a road trip!

Scriptures for Encouraging and Strength

Scriptures for Encouraging and Strength Awhile back I did a post about Scriptures for Anxiety or Worry, I have had a lot of traffic to the post, so I thought it was time to do another one. So here are some scriptures for Encouraging and Strength! I find that reading scriptures on a regular basis can help train your mind so when you start to struggle you can remember the scripture and find peace very easy.

1. Philippians 4:13  I can do all things through him who strengthens me.

2. Exodus 15:2 The LORD is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation; this is my God, and I will praise him, my father’s God, and I will exalt him.
3. Isaiah 41:10  fear not, for I am with you;  be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you,  I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
4. Romans 5:5 and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.

5. 2 Timothy 1:7  for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and a sound mind.

6. Zephaniah 3:17    The LORD your God is in your midst,   a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness;   he will quiet you by his love;  he will exult over you with loud singing.

7. Deuteronomy 31:6  Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the LORD your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.

8. Psalm 27:1   The LORD is my light and my salvation;    whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life;  of whom shall I be afraid?

9. Mark 10:52  And Jesus said to him, “Go your way; your faith has made you well.” And immediately he recovered his sight and followed him on the way.

10. Psalm 37:39 But the salvation of the righteous is from the LORD; He is their strength in time of trouble.

11. Matthew 19:26 But Jesus looked at them and said to them, ‘With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.

12. 2 Corinthians 4:16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.

13. Psalm 23:4  Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,   I will fear no evil, for you are with me;   your rod and your staff,    they comfort me.

14. 1 Chronicles 16:11  Seek the LORD and his strength;  seek his presence continually!

15. 1 Corinthians 10:13  No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

Update on How I am feeling since Gallbladder Surgery

So I thought I would just do an update on how I am doing since my gallbladder surgery. If you didn’t know I found out I had gallstones and my gallbladder wasn’t fully functioning how it should, so they had to remove my gallbladder in October 2014.

I know they say some people have their surgery and they instantly feel great and life goes on and they have no issues. I wish I could say that is the same for me. I have struggled a lot with feeling nauseated, having tummy troubles, and just feeling yucky. There are days I feel pretty good, and then there are days where I just feel miserable.

They said it can take me anywhere from six months to a year to really recover from it. Your body has to learn how to digest food differently since you don’t have your gallbladder. So it is a bit of a struggle for me, but I have known other people who have had it out and feel great and continue with life.

I am getting a new probiotic coming, that I have heard great reviews on for people who have ulcerative colitis and/or chrons, plus a person who had their gallbladder out recommended it to my sister in law for me to try. It is the Renew Life Ultimate Flora Critical Care 50 ProbioticI am really hoping this will help a lot and do the trick in getting me feeling better.

I think having ulcerative colitis on top of it, makes my recovery a bit harder. But I am praying for a full healing and trusting in God, that it is coming. I just wanted to share the update, so if you see me MIA for a day or two, you know why. I might just need some extra rest those days!

I love you all, and thank you for the support you give me all the time! I hope you all are enjoying your week!
