Scriptures That Keep You Grounded and Uplifted

Scriptures that keep me grounded and uplifted

Staying inspired and focused is hard at times. There is so much negative and crazy-ness going on in the world it is easy to get sucked up into it for sure! So I decided for my New Year Resolution I am going to focus on my relationship with God. I am going to read the bible in 1 year. I want to read it in chronicle order, so I found a guide to follow. So far I am ahead of where I should be 🙂 and I am hoping it stays that way!!

So my question is do you ever feel that you get distracted at all the madness around you?! I found some great scriptures that help keep me grounded in the moments where I get anxious or overwhelmed.

My sister had cancer 8 yrs ago and God gave her the verse Jeremiah 29:11. When I had cancer in 2011 I claimed that verse also. Also I claimed I Can Do All Things Through Christ Who Strengthens Me. I have to start reading my bible again. I talk and pray to God daily but I need to read His word also.
Thank you for the wonderful verses. I always enjoy reading your posts. Have a blessed wkend 🙂

Oh wow, I am so glad that you and your sister are so strong and overcame cancer!!! I have lost my dad and uncle to cancer, so I know it is a long journey, and it is always so uplifting to see when people survive and beat it!! Great scripture, I will put that to remember when I am feeling discouraged!!

Thanks for the reminder of these great scriptures. I always need to remind myself of 2 Timothy 1:7 and Philippians 4:6-7. I gave my daughter a bookmark for Christmas with Jeremiah 29:11 on it.
