My sister Tasha and I were doing a photo shoot out in the country awhile back, and I saw this tree standing out, and I just had to take a picture of it. Then when I saw this scripture I thought it fit perfectly with the photo.
No matter what we go through, good or bad we need to constantly pray and be thankful and trust in the Lord. I know we all are going through things in our lives where we struggle. I really feel I have started to grow stronger in my faith, and know that no matter what I am going through, God is always with me.
I was watching Joyce Meyer the other day, and I must say she said something that really struck a cord in me. Patient in Tribulation.
When we hit a fork in the road, and we have an issue we are going through. God can do two things for us, and we need to remember.
1. He will remove the problem from our life.
2. He will give you the strength and grace to overcome the problem, and we come out of the problem with something that we needed to learn along the way.
When I heard her say that, I thought wow, that is so true. The easy way is to get rid of the problem and move on, but sometimes there is a lesson we need to learn along the way. When we are faced with a problem, we need to give it to God and allow him to work with it. No matter what we don’t have control on the outcome. Jesus died on the cross, so we didn’t have to struggle with worry our whole lives. God is in control, at all times!!
So when your struggling, take a moment and say a prayer to God, and tell him you give it to him. He is in control, and all will be well. Everything is for a season, and there is a light at the end of the tunnel!
