Walnut Blondie Brownies Recipe

walnut Blondie Brownies

Umm.. … I must say these walnut blondie brownies are just outstanding. Nice and chewy, with a little crunch from the walnuts, that isn’t over powering. I am such a fan of white chocolate, and these brownies are just too good, and so hard to resist! These are Walnut Blondie Brownies are similar to the Maple Blondie Brownies at Applebee’s, but note I didn’t add the maple sauce to them, so they are a bit different.

They were pretty easy to make as well, so just follow the recipe below, and enjoy!!

Ingredients:

1 cup flour – sifted
1/2 tsp backing powder
1/8 tsp baking soda
1/8 tsp salt
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 egg
1/3 cup melted butter
1 tbs vanilla
1/2 cup white chocolate chips
1/2 cup walnuts (finally chopped)

How to Make:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Also grease an 8×8 square pan.

Sift your flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl and set aside.

Then in a bowl mix the brown sugar, butter until well mixed. Then toss in your egg and vanilla and mixed good. Once well mixed slowly add in your flour mixture, once well incorporated then add nuts and white chocolate chips!

Then put mixture into the greased pan, and bake for 20-25 minutes. Now make sure not to overbake these, as it will make them dry and not as good. So once you can stick a toothpick in and they come out clean, they are good. Allow to cool and serve with ice cream, or just the brownie itself!!

Hope you love them as much as I do ;-)!

I love walnuts too and think I’ll enjoy this recipe because of the brownies being blonde. I think the walnut flavor will be more pronounced so it isn’t competing with chocolate as I’m made them in the past.
