I received the perfumes below to review at no charge as part of my partnership with Tru Fragrance. All opinions are 100% my own.
To me trying out new fragrances is so fun! I love finding new perfumes that I love and make me smell perfect for any occasion. I have select perfumes I use for casual events, date night, and such. So I thought it would be fun to talk about Splurges vs. Steals on some select perfumes!
Sometimes I buy name brand perfumes, but from time to time you can find a Steal on a fragrance perfume that smell almost identical to the name brand. So let’s look at the different perfumes up for grabs on the Splurge vs Steal. All of the Steals are Under $50!!!
Fruity & Floral:
Splurge: At $89, Light Blue by Dolce & Gabbana is a stunning floral and fruity fragrance. Featuring notes of citron, apple, musk, white rose and amber, this light and fresh scent will rejuvenate you!
Steal: Francesca’s Tuileries will give you the same floral and fruity scent at a far less intimidating price. Crisp top notes of citron and apple combine with soft white amber and musk to make an airy scent that’s great for spring and summer. At just $28, your readers will have room for even more in their beauty bag this season!
Cool & Chic:
Splurge: Composed with notes of red berries, honeysuckle, jasmine, orange blossom and vanilla, Marc Jacobs Dot ($89) is a youthful yet alluring fragrance – perfect for the adventurous woman!
Steal: You can find notes of honeysuckle and orange blossom combined with subtle hints of vanilla in the fresh and free Forever Charmed. At under $35, the luminously fresh smell will reveal your wild side without putting a dent in your wallet.
Crisp & Clean:
Splurge: Coach Love ($92) features green violet, mandarin and jasmine, creating a refreshing scent and a delicious fragrance that’s sure to make a woman feel good!
Steal: Featuring notes of crisp green nuances, fresh mandarin and plum blossoms, Rock Revival for Her will have you smelling beautiful on a budget! This crisp and floral scent is perfect for the spirited woman, all for just $49.95.
Now I received the 3 perfumes in the first picture above. I have to say I was very impressed with each of these. I personally haven’t smelled the Marc Jacobs Dot, so I can’t vouch saying the Forever charmed smells similar to it. But as you can see from the description it looks like it could.
I would say out the perfumes I received I liked the Rock Revival for Her, it is a very nice crisp floral scent that fit my liking! It lasted throughout the day, and it fits me perfectly! The Forever Charmed as well is very nice! I like all of the steal fragrances I received and it is nice to have perfumes that compare for a lot less! Do you have perfumes that you buy Splurges over Steals because you love the scent better, or do you do Steal vs Splurges?! Now on my site, I have tried out other Tru Fragrance perfumes as well as Francesca’s and so far I have enjoyed them! They are at a reasonable price and they last throughout the day!
So if you are looking to try some new fragrance, consider the perfumes above, and let me know what you think! Also, curious what your favorite perfume is right now?!
