Here is a recipe you might love if you enjoy sausage, cheese, and more cheese!! This is a pretty moist and delicious Sausage Egg and Cheese Breakfast Casserole with a mild kick to it. I know I haven’t made it too many times, just cause I forget about it, but when I have it is always a hit. Plus it is really easy to make!
Sausage Egg and Cheese Breakfast Casserole Recipe
Ingredients:
1 roll of ground sausage 10 eggs beaten 1 cup shredded sharp cheese 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese 1 (16 oz) cottage cheese 1 (8-12 ounce can) of diced green chili’s 1 cup flour 1 tsp baking powderHow to Make:
Preheat Oven to 350 degree’s.
1. In a pan cook up the sausage as you normally would.
2. In a separate bowl, beat 10 eggs, until they are mixed good. Then add in your cheese’s green chili’s, flour, and baking soda.
3. Once the sausage is fully cooked you can drain off grease and then mix sausage into the mix.
4. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 and bake for 30-40 minutes. Cook until it is done and not gooey.
Depending on where you live, cooking time could vary.
Serve right away, or store in fridge until you are ready and then reheat. It reheats pretty well and doesn’t become overly dry like some casseroles :-)!! Enjoy!
