This Mint Oreo Trifle is easy to make with no baking required! It’s the perfect St. Patrick’s Day inspired dessert when you want a delicious treat that requires little time and only a few ingredients.
Here is a really simple yet decadent dessert that will blow you away! This Mint Oreo Trifle recipe is a great treat for St. Patrick’s Day, or just eat as a treat anytime of year! I thought it would be fun to share a recipe like this since St. Patrick’s Day is coming up!
When preparing for holiday celebrations, I love recipes that are easy to make, can be made ahead of time and can be made to feed just a few or for a whole crowd. This mint trifle recipe only uses a few ingredients and you could put it together in a hurry.
9 oz Clear Plastic CupsOREO Mint Flavored Creme Chocolate Sandwich CookiesMcCormick Pure Mint ExtractJello Chocolate Pudding Pudding MixMcCormick Assorted Food Colors & Egg DyeDomino Powdered Sugar, 32 oz
Since these desserts are each made in its own individual cup, it makes it super simple for serving at a party. Just place them all on a serving tray and each person can easily grab their own dessert.
This Mint Oreo Trifle is easy to whip up, and no baking required!
Mint Oreo Trifle Recipe
Ingredients:
1 package of Oreo Mint Cookies
1 small package JELL-O Chocolate Pudding
2 cup cold Milk
2 cup Heavy Cream
¼ cup Powdered Sugar
1 tsp Pure Mint Extract (optional in case you don’t like mint)
Green Food coloring
Directions:
1. Make pudding according to package directions. Place in refrigerator.
2. Whip heavy cream until it begins to peak. Add powdered sugar and continue to whip. Add mint
and 6-10 drops food coloring and continue to whip until peaks form. Place in refrigerator.
3. Chop approximately ¾ of the Oreos and scatter into bottom of the plastic cup. Top with about 1/4 cup chocolate pudding, then add another small amount of Oreo topping. Top with whipped cream mixture.
Note: If you happen to not like mint you can opt out of the mint ingredients and use vanilla instead.
Plus you can sprinkle some Oreo crumbs on top, or even place part of a cookie. You can decorate how you would like! Again this is a super easy dessert that is SO delicious!
I am a huge fan of desserts like this, and you can’t go wrong with an Oreo! Affordable and tasty are two of my favorite things! This Mint Oreo Trifle, is so good. Or you can feel free and use plain Oreo’s and skip the mint if you would prefer!
