I have been wanting a Babycake Cupcake maker for a very long time. So when I our local store had one on a great sale as they were going out of business, I was all over it! I think I ended up paying under $20 on it, I forgot the exact price! So once I I got my Babycake Cupcake maker.I was so happy to see you can make more than just cupcakes! I will say it makes the best cupcakes because they are so moist and delicious!
So I thought today I am ready to try something new, and decided to do a Pecan Pie Tartlets Recipe!! I changed the recipe a little bit and I am really loving these sweet treats. It will be a fun surprise for when my hubby gets home tonight, as that is one of his favorite pies!!
Ingredients:1 prepared pie crust 1/4 cup brown sugar 1 tbs melted butter 2 tbs corn syrup (I used light not dark) 1 egg 3/4 cup chopped pecans
How to make:
With my Babycake maker it came with pie crust cutters, so I used that to cut the circles out. If you don’t have it, you can use a mug or glass to get your circle.
I then cut out the pie crust and placed it into the babycake maker. Turned it on and allowed it to get hot.
In a bowl I mixed all the ingredients above together, till well mixed. Then placed about 1 tablespoon of filling in each pie crust! Bake for around 10-12 minutes. You want crust to be lightly golden brown and filling to appear to be pretty done, not jiggly!
Put on cooling rack to cool off, then enjoy!!
