I am really in love with Gold Right now! I see it all over the place so maybe that is why it is tugging so hard at my heart strings :-)!! Adam is out competing in a mud run and I am at home trying to clean up my office room and get some work done! When I was at Walmart last night I bought some gold glitter to add some sparkle to a few things ;-)!
My first thought was to do a Flameless Candle Makeover! I like them being plain white but, I was thinking to add a bit more personality to the room so I thought why not add some glitter to them! It was really easy to do, and with some painters tape you could create any design you wanted!! I just chose to do a few lines but I almost went with a chevron print!!
It is really easy to do and you can choose any glitter color you want! I just used the spray adhesive glue but if you have something else on hand that should work. I did also spray them with a clear coat of spray paint to keep the glitter from flaking off, this is optional. Just be careful handling if you don’t as the glitter falls off pretty easily.
Flameless Candle Makeover with Glitter
What you need:
- Flameless candles
- Glitter (any color)
- Spray Adhesive glue
- Clear Spray Paint (optional)
Vanilla Scented Real Wax LED Flameless CandlesDarice Extra Fine Glitte, Gold3M General Purpose Spray AdhesiveRust Oleum Ultra Cover Spray Paint, Gloss Clear
How to Do:
Just take some painter’s tape and tape whatever design you want on the candle. Once you have that done, spray some of the glue adhesive on in the areas you want to glitter, then sprinkle the glitter on to the glue. You will have to work sort of fast as the glue dries kind of quick. Once it is glittered, let set for a little bit. Then you can take some clear spray paint and spray over the glittered area (do outside) and allow to dry. Once dry you are good to go!

Yes for sure Emily! I have a lot of gold things so I thought to do it that color. I debated on halloween colors but I thought with this I could have them out all year round :-)!
