This easy casserole takes just a few minutes to get it put together. Then, simply turn on low, and leave it to cook through the day! You can pair with a veggie or salad for a quick, easy, and complete dinner!
I am a huge fan of cooking with a crock pot! I love to have nice meals prepared for the day but don’t always want to spend the time cooking in the kitchen.
That is when I decide it is time to whip out my crock pot and make something like this Crockpot Cheesy Chicken & Bacon Tater Tot Casserole! It takes just a few minutes to get it put together, turn on low, and leave it to cook through the day!
Then when dinner time rolls around you have a delicious meal waiting! You can pair with a veggie or salad, and you have a quick and easy dinner!!
You just do layers like you would when you make lasagna! Start with tater tots, then add the diced chicken, shredded cheese, and then bacon bits. Then top with the remainder of the the tater tots, shredded cheese and bacon bits.
Then pour the milk over the top and you are ready to cook! I love how this recipe doesn’t call for any cream soups, it is just milk!
This is so good, and so simple to make! Even if you don’t think you are a good cook, it is hard to mess this up!
I know I will be making this again very soon!! I loved all the flavors. The only downfall was that some of the tater tots were not crunchy like we prefer, it seemed like the bottom ones cooked a lot better than the top ones, on getting crunchy.
I found this recipe on Real Housemoms, and I thought I would give it a try! I came across it on Pinterest, and I have to say it is a winner in our books!
