Candy Corn, M&Ms and Peanuts combine to make a sweet and salty snack mix perfect for Halloween parties!
When fall and Halloween rolls around, it’s always nice to have a party treat that super easy to put together. That’s exactly what you get with this candy corn snack mix recipe.
Know the best part of it? It takes less than 5 minutes to make, but you end up with something a bit unique that’s a step above bringing a pre-bagged mix. What’s better than a “homemade” treat that isn’t much harder than opening a few packages?!?!
In all seriousness, the fun and easy thing about this snack mix recipe is that it can be used for Halloween or any autumn occasion and you can get a bit creative to add in some of your favorite treats to the mix.
Our standard mix is made with candy corn, peanuts and M&M’s, but that is just a starting point! Just a few of the things you can add are marshmallows, chocolate chips, pretzels, chocolate covered pretzels, variety flavors of M&M’s like peanut butter or pumpkin spice flavors, peanut butter chips, candy pumpkins, cashews, almonds, popcorn or really anything else you like to munch on!
This flexible party mix is great for office, school or daycare parties – as long as you are allowed to bring products with peanuts in them. If not, you can easily omit the peanuts and replace them with another crunchy option (see our list above!)
To serve the snack mix, you can put it in a big bowl or in smaller “dip size” bowls to place around the room or spread out on a table. I love this pumpkin themed bowl above. Or, if you would like to use the mix as a party favor, you can put small amounts in clear cellophane bags and tie them with pretty autumn or halloween themed ribbons. Now, let’s get to the recipe!

That is a great mix of candy. The chocolate and candy corn would go nicely together. If you put that in front of me I would probably eat the whole thing!

We have an argument in the house. My wife loves candy corn, me not so much. This would work because I could pick out what I want and leave the rest for her!

I hear what Scott is saying! My house is the same way. I’m all about the candy corn! But I don’t love the chocolate version. This snack mix is going to be mine, all mine!
