  1. -Aspen Colorado– Best time to go is mid-September! The first week of October will still offer beautiful viewings as well. The leaves will be scattered on the ground by then, but you will still feel covered in all things Fall!
  2. The Berkshires, Massachusetts – Fall foliage normally begins in late September and peaks mid-October. This is one place I would absolutely love to go. The winding roads and the mountains in the distance just screams beauty! They have beautiful yellow and crimson hues, it is like God’s beautiful masterpiece painted right before your eyes!

  3. Great Smoky Mountains National Park – After researching this, it looks and sounds stunning!  They have over 100 species of native trees, wow that is amazing! From maples, hickory, sweet gums and more. The colors of the tree leaves sound to be just gorgeous beyond words. From gold to purple and everything in between. Early October through early November is the best time to see the foliage.
  4. Lake of Ozarks, Missouri– You can take a 25-mile scenic drive, to see all the beauty it has. The prime time to make this stop is Mid October, from what I have found. They have a nice gold course, horse back riding and more. It is a really neat stop if you are near it!
  5. Shenandoah National Park – Last but not least, here is another great stop!  With 200,000 acres of protected lands are haven to deer, songbirds, the night sky…and you. It looks like October is the time to go for this, and it has colors that will take your breath away, as well as wildlife!
