10 Week Pregnancy Update

10 Weeks Pregnant

I can’t believe another week has come and gone! I am 10 weeks, woohoo! This Friday I have my first dr. appointment so that is exciting. I always get a little nervous going to the doctor but for the most part we are ready to get to hear the heartbeat, and start this journey. Adam is taking off and we will go together, so that makes it special!

Here is this weeks 10 Week Pregnancy Update! Not a ton has changed from last week.

Size of baby: Baby is the size of a large date.

Sleeping: I am sleeping pretty good through the night. I wake up at least 2-3 times to go to the bathroom, and I have been getting up at 3 am and staying up. But I am going to bed early so it works.

Morning Sickness: Still having some nausea and dry heaving at times. I had a few days where I felt great until the evening and then started feeling sick, but I think I over-did it and that is why I ended up feeling sick.

Symptoms: I have struggled with eating this week. I am hungry but nothing really hits the spot. I find that I force myself to eat, but rarely can finish just cause I feel sick. I have been a bit tired throughout the day, not a ton of energy. Headaches are a hit and miss.

Cravings: I was really wanting guacamole, and got some and boy was it amazing. I am wanting more carb type foods. Muffins, bread, etc this week. I do have a sweet tooth, where in the beginning I didn’t even touch anything sweet.

Food Aversions: Smells are starting to bother me pretty good again. I thought that had went away but it seems to be starting back up. just random smells. I also see food and sometimes it just nauseates me. Or if I think of eating certain things I bought get sick.

Best Moment of the Week: Knowing our appointment is almost here to hear heartbeat. It was also nice to have a few days where I felt good, and got out of the house and went shopping!

Dr. Appointment: This Friday!
