2 Ingredient Lemon Bar Cake


Lemon bar CakeSo all over Pinterest I have seen these delicious lemon bar recipes that say 2 ingredients only.. so I finally broke down and decided to test them out. I will say that it isn’t in my opinion the same taste or texture of lemon bars. It is very good, but it is more of a cake consistency rather then a regular lemon bar. .. hence is why I call it lemon bar cake!

I think that this is very good, and would make a great snack or even a great option for breakfast!! Of course you can sprinkle powdered sugar on top of it, but wouldn’t ya know, I don’t have any and forgot to grab it at the store :-). Losing my mind here .. hahaha.

Lemon Bar Cake


1 box of Angel Food Mix

1 can of Lemon Filling (think it was like 15.7 size)

How to Make: 

Heat oven to 350 degrees.

Mix together the angel food mix with the pie filling, stir by hand. That is very important, you don’t want to over mix this as it won’t turn out that good.

It will get kind of fluffy like in the picture, once you see it is well mixed, then Pour the mix into a 9×13 greased pan. Place in oven and bake for around 20-25 minutes. This will vary depending on your altitude, so please take note of that.

Once it is done the top will be a golden brown color in area’s and won’t giggle too much. Allow to cool on cooling rack, then cut and enjoy!! Feel free to pin this on pinterest as well ;-).
