How to Cook Eggs In The Oven In Muffin Tin – Great for A Quick Breakfast

How to Cook Eggs In the Oven

In the mornings I do not get up with my husband and cook him breakfast each morning. But, I do make sausage and eggs that he can warm up everyday. I found a new way to cook eggs in the oven that you can do and use right away, or if you are like me, store in a container in fridge so you can reheat them and eat through the week! They are super easy to do, and Adam really enjoys them. We were doing hard boiled eggs in the oven for quite awhile for him to eat, but thought this would be a nice switch!

Now if you are planning to eat them right after you make them, you can choose how long to bake them, so if you like the centers to be soft, pull them out a little earlier. Since he eats them through the week I make sure they are cooked all the way through, and the centers are not gooey at all.

So here is how to cook eggs in the oven using a muffin tin! I am sure there are many other ways, but this is how we do it in our house! Hope you enjoy!

12 eggs
salt and pepper (optional)
sharp shredded cheese (optional)

How to Make:

What I do is preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Then spray a muffin tin really well with cooking spray. The eggs will stick if you skip this step. Then crack the eggs and put them in each muffin hole. Then sprinkle salt and pepper over each egg if you would like.

Bake in the oven for around 8 minutes. Then pull the eggs out at this time if you want to add cheese to your eggs, and sprinkle just a little over the top of each egg. Put the tin back in the oven and bake for another 5-7 minutes or until eggs are cooked through.

Now if you want your eggs runny, just adjust the cooking time.

Cooked Eggs in Muffin TinThese are really easy and once done you can scoop on out and eat then or refrigerate for later!! When you go to microwave them I think like 10 seconds is enough. Adam heats his eggs with sausage up for like 10 seconds I think is what he told me! I know some people make these for supper time, and put over hashbrowns, make into a sandwich, reheat for a quick breakfast,  the possibilities are endless!
