Apley Shepard’s Pie Recipe

Here is my own recipe for Shepard’s Pie!! Now my hubby doesn’t like cooked veggies, only corn. So I use only corn, but you can add other veggies like green beans, pea, and such if you would like!!
Ingredients: 
2 lbs hamburger
10 med. to large potatoes
3 cups brown gravy (Click Here for Recipe)
1 Can Corn
1 Cup Shredded Cheese ( I used Colby/Monterey Jack)
1 tablespoon Season Salt
1 tablespoon Garlic Salt with Parsley
How to Make: 
Preheat the over to 375 Degree’s Farenheit
Peel and dice potatoes and put in a pan and cook until tender. You will end up making mashed potatoes with them!
In another pan, cook your hamburger until browned. Add the Season Salt, and garlic salt with parsley into the hamburger as it cooks.
In another pan start cooking your Brown Gravy. Click here for recipe!
Once Hamburger is cooked through put in a cake pan. Drain the can of corn, and then pour into cake pan, and mix the ground beef and corn together like picture above.
Then put your shredded cheese over the top of the meat and corn.
Then pour 2/3 of the brown gravy over the mixture. Sorry the picture has a lot of steam coming off of gravy LOL.
You will reserve the 1/3 of gravy if anyone wants extra gravy, they can add to it, or you can add it into the mix if you choose, it is just a preference.
Whip up your cooked potatoes. Make them mashed. I added some butter and 2 tablespoons milk to my taters to make them creamy!
Take your mashed taters and spread them over your Shepard’s Pie.
Then put in the oven and bake at 375 degree’s for about 30-40 minutes. You will bake it until the top of the potatoes start to brown, like in the picture above!
Once cooked through, take out of the oven and allow to cool a bit, it will be VERY hot.
Then serve!  Hope you like it!!
