When summer rolls around, what’s the perfect treat that soothes the sweet tooth AND keeps you cool? Ice pops! This Fruit Cocktail Ice Pop Recipe is fun and easy for the kids to help make and it tastes super delicious! To make them super bright and fun and add an extra dash of flavor, we put extra maraschino cherries into each pop.

While you can use any type of popsicle mold to make these fruit cocktail ice pops, this Lebice popsicle mold is just about the highest rated set you can find. Each mold has a drip tray at the bottom to help avoid sticky fingers! They are also BPA free and dishwasher safe. Just use them a few times and you have more than covered the cost of buying pre-made treats at the store AND you can know exactly what’s in your treats and make them just how you like them.

Fruit Cocktail Ice Pop Recipe

Ingredients:

1 can Fruit Cocktail (29 ounces), Undrained
12-18 additional Maraschino Cherries

Directions:

Place a cherry in the bottom of each ice pop mold.
Fill each mold with 1/4 cup fruit cocktail, adding an extra cherry halfway through.
Make sure each mold is filled with liquid to the fill line.
Insert sticks and place in freezer for 4-5 hours or until frozen solid.

After School Snacks for Back to School!

 

after school snacks I can’t believe that school is going to be starting so soon, I know some states it may have already started! My birthday is the 12th of August so when I was little I would pray my birthday would get here. Then at the same time dread it as I knew school would start shortly after! Haha, I wasn’t the biggest fan of school as I was afraid of all the germs, so there was tears, more tears and then a few more!

I thought it could be fun do to a roundup post of after school snacks that are inspired by Back to School! These snacks would be a great treat for your kid/kids, or even a fun lunch idea to pack to go along with the rest of their lunch!

Fun Peanut Butter Apple Teeth – Easy to Make and Great Snack!

Peanut Butter Apple TeethHere is a super easy snack that would be great for after-school treat! Plus these are fun around Halloween as well! I am a huge fan of apples with peanut butter, that is my favorite way to eat an apple! Or drench it in caramel sauce! Here is a really easy and fun Peanut Butter Apple Teeth that you could create, or have your kiddo’s help you!

Apple Core Now to make it easy to cut the apple you can use an Apple Slicer, this makes it really easy to slice the apple. If you don’t have one and don’t want to buy one, no biggie just cut it up with a knife!

These are pretty self explanatory on how to make them, but I will go ahead and share the recipe and how-to anyway!

Peanut Butter Apple TeethIngredients: 

apple (Any Kind works)
Jar of Peanut Butter (you will use about 1/4 to a 1/2 cup for one apple-depending on amount you put on them)
Mini Marshmallows 
Peanut Butter Apple TeethHow To Make: 
 
1. Start by slicing your apple.
2. Then take a teaspoon or two of peanut butter and spread on the side of the apple.
3. Next place a row of mini marshmallows across the apples.
4. Once you have your marshmallows on the apples, sandwich them together, and press firmly and they will stick and you will have your set of teeth!

And your done! These are so easy to make, and super tasty! So if you want to make a fun snack, I highly suggest trying out these fun teeth! With Halloween around the corner, this would be a fun treat to make for a party as a snack!
