Fun with Teletubbies Bubbles + Reader Giveaway

This is part of a sponsored campaign for Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. I received compensation for my participation, but my reviews and opinions are my own. Paint With Bubbles

In honor of the new release of the Teletubbies Bubbles DVD, I thought it would be fun to get outside and create art using bubbles with my son, Clay! In the new DVD Teletubbies Bubbles, the Teletubbies chase and pop bubbles, and I wanted to create a fun craft with my little guy around bubbles! He loves watching Teletubbies when they come on television, so it is nice to have three new DVDs so he can watch, while learning and having fun! And this year, the Teletubbies are celebrating “20 Years of Big Hugs” all throughout 2017.

Teletubbies Bubbles

I was sent the Bubbles, Twinkle Twinkle and Big Hugs DVDs along with a plush Teletubbie. When I opened the package, Clay’s face just lit up! He is really into stuffed and plush toys, so now he loves to take it to sleep with him during his nap. Of course right away we had to put on one of the DVDs so Clay could watch it.

I love Teletubbies because it is a learning show for him. It is great for physical development, communication, social and emotional development and more. Teletubbies teach your child tasks and information in each episode. They use words like “again again” to let your child understand how to use the word, as they repeat what they were doing!

If you have not watched the Teletubbies, their world is so colorful, and it is really engaging for little kids. They can’t help but watch, because it draws them in. As your child grows they can engage in the questions the Teletubbies ask, and they can join in dancing and other activities. It is a show that I love Clay to watch, as I know he is growing and learning! You can find out more about the developmental benefits of Teletubbies HERE.

If you want to create bubble art with one of your little children, you should give it a try. It is easy and your child will love it! Clay is still pretty young, so he is learning, and he did a wonderful job creating a pretty piece of art work we can hang on the fridge!

First off you want to either make your own bubble solution or buy a bottle of bubbles. I had bubbles on hand, so I went ahead and just used store bought. But, if you prefer to make your own, it is easy to do, and works just the same!

Next add in some food coloring into separate bowls or containers. I did small portions, and did 1 drop of each color. I let Clay pick out 3 colors. In each container, add a little bit of the bubble solution, and mix with the food coloring. You can add more drops of coloring to reach the desired color you want.

After you have your bubble solution colored, grab some white paper, canvas or whatever you want your child to paint on! Then head outside because it can get a little messy! We went ahead and used white paper, so he could do as many pictures as he wanted.

Bubble Art

Then let them take a bubble wand, and dip into the solution, and then blow bubbles onto the paper. Clay struggled at first learning how to blow bubbles, but with some practice he learned how! It will add a fun color to the paper, creating a custom piece of art work!

Once he got the bubbles on the paper he popped them himself, or they popped right away! He loved being able to see the colors go onto the paper! This does work really well, and you can use any color of food coloring you want, and as many colors!

Then just let it air dry, and then you can hang it up in your child’s room, hang on the fridge, or make cards for family members! Each bubble art you do will have a new and unique design! It is a blast doing, and I know we will be doing more of these this summer!
